As an Axle Suspension Engineer, you are the linking pin between complex load cases and tangible part requirements. You operate within a high-stakes reallocation project, where your technical drawings and reviews form the foundation for safety and performance. Your role is broad and result-oriented, focusing on:
- Requirement Engineering: Transferring load cases into precise part or system requirements documented within TRS, product specs, or scorecards.
- Supplier Alignment: Managing the critical interface between Client and suppliers to ensure all requirements are captured in the Supplier Sign Off documentation.
- Design & Review: Making and reviewing advanced 2D and 3D drawings using Siemens NX to ensure every casting, forging, and rod meets the highest standards.
- Quality & Safety: Performing detailed DFMEAs and Safety Design Reviews alongside internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Validation: Defining and following up on comprehensive test plans to validate that every air spring and bearing performs under pressure.
